Khalida is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work degrees. She is experienced in clinical counselling for various mental health areas including anxiety, depression, disordered eating, OCD/HOCD, PTSD, addiction, trauma, couples, family, LGBTQ2+ counselling and more.
Khalida believes in learning with the individual and pulling on their strengths, as it can empower them in accomplishing their goals and overcoming adversity. Her holistic approach allows an understanding of the individual and their environment to help nurture safety, rapport, growth, and healing. She aims to foster empowerment to thrive and to build sustainable change, clarity and confidence.
In her spare time, Khalida enjoys snowboarding, weightlifting, swimming, trying new recipes, pottery, and researching pediatric medicine.
