Purpose Therapy Group

Asalameileikum! My clientele typically consists of BIPOC and individuals, couples, and families holding multicultural identities (first gen, bilingual, etc.). My areas of focus include supporting my diverse clients through life transitions (break ups, marriage, moving cross country, career changes), depression and anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, burnout, grief/loss, and more. Regardless of the circumstances bringing you to therapy, I ensure culturally informed counseling honoring the relationship between your mental health concerns and cultural background.
I recognize holding diverse identities while navigating a Western world can have challenges. I strive to equip clients with the tools needed to preserve their mental health and overcome concerns impacting their well-being. I welcome all BIPOC, and specialize in young professionals, college students, and those belonging to the Millenial and Gen Z eras
My approach to therapy is comprised of empathy, active listening, humor, and rapport building – getting to know who you are outside of your presenting concerns: your hobbies, interests, and perhaps what books you are currently reading. My style is eclectic - I believe in seeing my clients as holistic beings and how they live life outside of the therapy room. :)
