I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 119438) based in California. I provide telehealth services. I have eight years of experience working with children, adolescence, and parents. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. My work is guided by my client's goals for treatment and is informed by attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness in order to reduce symptoms while increasing coping skills.
I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, came to the States when I was 12 years old. I understand the importance of living in non-Islamic country while maintaining a strong Islamic faith. My goal is to destigmatize mental health from our community and provide a compassionate supportive hand to my community members.
