Hi there! My name is Ilda, and I bring over 20 years of experience working in hospital and community settings to my practice. My specialization lies in supporting caregivers who have experienced vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue. Through my extensive work, I understand that grief and loss can manifest in various forms throughout our lives, such as job loss, divorce, chronic illness, and physical or mental trauma.
If you are grappling with historical or current trauma, I am here to help you navigate and work through it. My expertise also extends to supporting first responders and frontline workers, helping them cope with work-related stress and trauma. As a therapist, I am dedicated to providing a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental space. My top priority is to ensure you feel safe as you explore the most fragile and vulnerable aspects of your life.
I recognize that cultural and faith-based values significantly influence your stress and coping mechanisms. Therefore, I adopt a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to help you manage emotional burdens effectively and support you in achieving your personal goals.
