About Mahum Ahmed, RSW

I’m Mahum, a registered social worker based in Toronto - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and guarantee top of the line counseling and psychological services catered to their needs.

I obtained a Master’s in Social Work degree from York University, and before that, a Bachelor of Social Work degree, with a minor in Psychology and Sociology from Ryerson University. I am experienced in treating individuals with Psycho-Social Disorders, Psychosis, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health issues. In addition, I offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy. Most recently, I completed a certificate from Wilfrid Laurier University in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As an avid learner, I am passionate about community, mental health awareness, and empowering individuals towards a fulfilling future.
