As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, and welcome!
Whether you're seeking to strengthen your Islamic identity and spirituality, develop effective skills, process complex grief or trauma, or navigate challenging relationships, therapy can be a powerful resource, fostering self-discovery, transformation, healing, and growth.
As a proud Muslimah, South Asian, and third-culture kid, I have been blessed, alhamdulillah, to be able to work with diverse clients, experiencing various issues from anxiety/depression to relational distress to felt experiences of injustice. In a nutshell, I approach therapy holistically, integrating spirituality and trauma-informed practices, while being culturally sensitive, attachment-based, and anti-oppressive. Drawing from my intersectionality and extensive research on grief and death/dying from an Islamic standpoint, I further offer a perspective that is both relatable and insightful for my clients.
When working with me, you can expect an empathic, nonjudgmental, and collaborative experience built on mutual trust and transparency. Together, I hope to co-create a space tailored to you—where you can feel safe and truly heard. Moreover, I wish to honor your process and personhood, working at your pace to support your healing and growth.
Embarking on a therapeutic journey not only requires immense courage and commitment, but it also requires a protective space that will facilitate your growth. If you would like to explore how we can work together, please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation.
