Zaynah Farooq holds a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and is currently licensed in the State of Illinois as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She graduated with her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago as well, with a BS in Neuroscience and a BS in Psychology. Zaynah's graduate training took place at a college wellness center, working with adolescents and adults in several areas, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship, and family problems, as well as other stressors and mental health concerns. Zaynah has a special interest in working with young adults dealing with stressors related to transition and adjustment to life changes. Her clinical approach is integrative and holistic, working from a trauma-focused and psychodynamic lens, meeting the client where they are from a non-judgmental and warm perspective.
