I am a compassionate social worker providing therapy to clients struggling with challenging life experiences. It can be difficult to cope when experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, or low self-esteem. I approach the therapeutic process from an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed lens. I hope to build a judgment-free and compassionate space with you when working through challenging and sensitive issues. Healing is a non-linear process, and my hope is to engage in a journey with you that deepens your self-awareness while developing effective coping strategies. In my practice, my role is to collaboratively work with you to foster resiliency, a better connection to your authentic self, and support you in navigating life challenges, through curiosity, compassion, and empowerment.
I offer collaborative and integrative client centred therapy to young adults, adults, and seniors experiencing a range of concerns but not limited to depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, interpersonal conflict, racial identity, stress management, relationship difficulty, and more. I utilize varying modalities including a strengths-based framework, anti-oppressive lens, and solution focused therapy. I draw on evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and more.
I strive to provide a safer space where we can work to overcome your challenges and move toward your goals. I am committed to being open and curious about your life, while also offering tools that will help you cope, and problem solve. Recognizing you need support is courageous, and you've already taken the first step by reading my page. I invite you to reach out so we can get to know one another. You don't have to go on this journey alone!
