At AJS Therapy, my approach is designed to offer clients a transformative experience that aligns deeply with their faith and personal well-being. By integrating Islamic Counseling and Psychotherapy within a broad, holistic framework, clients benefit from a therapeutic process that respects both their spiritual and psychosomatic needs. Rooted in the Quran and Sunnah, my approach combines spiritual, humanistic, existential, and naturopathic perspectives with psycho-somatic insights, helping clients align their inner beliefs with religion and nurture post therapy self-awareness, resilience, and peace within.
I work with individuals navigating personal growth phases, relationship dynamics, identity crises, trauma, self-worth issues, stress, anxiety, and grief. My goal is to foster resilience, particularly during times of trauma, significant change and loss. My experience includes roles in various charitable organizations, including Woman’s Aid, Lateef Project, Cedar Counselling, My Time, Women’s Consortium, Noor, as well as NHS primary care settings. As a registered member of the NCPS, I bring a commitment to high standards of professional practice and have also provided CPCAB-recognized counselling training.
Additionally, I have authored two books, Islamically Inspired Self-Development and Spiritual Resilience, and launched online self help courses as well as Islamic Psychology online communities and certified pathways for Muslim Therapist. Those programs extends my mission of supporting Muslims in their journey of spiritual and personal growth through the guidance of Islamic principles.
